The Potter's School is pleased to offer a complete Elementary curriculum for grades 5 and 6, extending to strong grade 4 students, with plans for more in future years. TPS Elementary instills a love of learning while also teaching foundational learning skills, plus skills specific to each major discipline. TPS Elementary also helps instill independent study skills, so that by grade 7 most students can work on their own with increasingly less supervision. TPS offers a solid elementary Math Fundamentals track to ensure the student is fully prepared for Pre-Algebra. TPS Math Fundamentals use a customized version of the highly regarded Math Mammoth curriculum, the same as is used in TPS Pre-Algebra for 2017-18 and later. These courses are offered in cooperation with Math Mammoth.
For students seeking an accelerated math foundation and Pre-Algebra preparation
TPS offers an "honors-level" elementary Math Accelerated track for young math students working above grade level. TPS Math Accelerated uses the highly regarded Singapore Math curriculum. Students who do well in TPS Math Accelerated 6 may be recommended to skip Pre-Algebra and go directly to Algebra.
TPS offers an integrated Elementary History and Literature curriculum. Combine this with TPS Writing Fundamentals 5 and Writing Fundamentals 6 for a complete Elementary History, Literature, Reading, and Writing program.
