Contact Information
We value your questions and feedback about The Potter's School, its courses, and its other ministries. For registerered families, we are available by appointment for curriculum consulting and academic counseling, or to discuss general homeschooling and related family discipleship matters with you. Therefore, we offer a variety of methods by which you can contact us. It is our intent to respond promptly to you, so if you do not hear from us after two full weekdays, please don't hesitate to prompt us again.
Email
The best email address to use to reach us depends on the topic.
All technical support requests for help with conferencing software should go to Tech Support. For fastest support, use the Live Chat option during working hours. Requesting technical help from your teacher or another member of our staff will slow down your request, or stall it entirely. If contacting tech support does not resolve your problem effectively and efficiently, please notify our administrator at administrator@pottersschool.org, so we may assist you with the process.
1. For questions about specific classes, our teachers' email addresses are linked from the Teachers page.
2. For general questions about our courses or schedules, for questions about adding or dropping a class, or for billing and payment matters, please contact our administrator at administrator@pottersschool.org.
3. For questions related to academic counseling, general homeschooling and family discipleship matters, or other ministries of The Potter's School, please contact our director at director@pottersschool.org.
4. If you have specific concerns with a course or teacher for a course you are already taking, we follow a biblically based approach:
a. Contact the teacher to discuss the specifics of your concern. Most issues can and should be resolved directly between the two primary parties. Also, the teacher is the best one to receive direct feedback for improvement in the course and how it is taught. If you use email for any part of this interaction, you may feel free to CC the director at director@pottersschool.org, so we may be aware of your concerns and track their resolution. Our teachers will CC us as well.
b. If direct and specific interaction with the teacher does not resolve your concern, please send a written request by email to the director at director@pottersschool.org for assistance with resolution. Please detail your concerns in this request. This provides us background on a matter and allows us to look into it before meeting with you, so we might make the most of everyone's time in a meeting. We desire it in writing because written communication is more accountable for all parties. It allows words to be considered more carefully, specific examples to be explained more factually, and things to be referred back to when there is a question.
c. If needed, we will then set up a live meeting (phone or internet conferencing, depending on attendees) to work out final resolution of the concerns.
5. And finally, if you just hate the computer age and want to talk with a friendly voice who will listen and steer you in the right direction to the right person who can help with your request, we can accommodate that too. Please contact our administrator at administrator@pottersschool.org, and make sure you specify that you're just looking for the friendly voice to get you started. :-)
Telephone/Fax
We do not staff our office with a continuous phone presence, and we use the phone almost exclusively for pre-arranged appointments. In order to provide you the right person with the information you want without you having to wait on hold or try back later, we start all conversations using email, and convert those to phone appointments as needed.
