2009-2010 Schedule
Since our classes meet only once per week, The Potter's School cannot observe U.S. federal holidays because they almost always fall on Mondays. Observing all U.S. federal holidays over the course of a year would result in a significant disadvantage for those courses scheduled with Monday sessions. We regret not being able to more fully demonstrate due respect for the purpose of these holidays, and the inconvenience this may cause some families.
All times listed are U.S. Eastern Time. The school will come off Daylight Savings Time on November 1 and go on Daylight Savings Time on March 14. The schedule will be:
First Semester:  September 14 - January 29*
Thanksgiving Vacation:  November 21 - November 29
Christmas Vacation:  December 19 - January 3
Second Semester:  February 1 - June 4**
Winter Break:  February 13 - February 21
Spring Break:  April 3 - April 11

*Because Labor Day in 2009 is almost a week later than usual, we are starting the 2009-2010 school year on Sep 14. The first semester is one week longer than the second, and the first week is an orientation week. During the orientation week there is course work, but a fair amount of class time is spent getting students settled in the classroom.
**Some classes have finals the week of June 7.
