What is an 'not inited' error and how can it be corrected?
The 'not inited' error from the Java applet is rare and can be caused by several issues.

The most common cause is a firewall or proxy server that restricts the Java files from downloading from the GatherPlace servers.
This can usually be corrected by adding the GatherPlace servers to the trusted list by the IT department.
They will need this article which lists the IP addresses, domain names, and types of traffic to allow: KB 136377

Another cause is the possibility that there was only a partial download of the Java files.
This is usually corrected by closing all of the browser windows and trying to join the meeting again.
In some cases you may also need to restart the computer to reload the Java files.

It is also possible that the installation of Java has been corrupted and needs to be replaced.
